Our Founders help bring exciting new projects to life and transform raw land into dream golf destinations. They are pioneers who relish walking the land with course architects and developers, experiencing the camaraderie of insiders, and even playing a little wilderness golf. Founders enjoy exclusive benefits including site visits during construction, Founder events, exclusive travel with others who believe in the game and in the places it takes us, and the satisfaction of creating something beautiful and lasting.

Old Shores Founders will enjoy a range of pre-opening and ongoing membership benefits.

As we build out the resort, benefits include:

  • Exclusive preview play for Founders and their guests before the first course, designed by Tom Doak, officially opens.

    • Preferred selection status for real estate releases.

    • The rare ability to join in special property and course tours during construction.

    • Play a valuable role in the creation of the first and future courses.

    • Early Founders receive special early pricing.

    As the project progresses, the Founder deposit will increase.

After our first course opens, benefits include:

  • Exclusive access to tee times and lodging prior to public availability along with daily Founder blocks for shorter-notice access.

    Today, our resorts typically sell out to the public 12-18 months in advance.

    • Founder and spouse (or significant other) may play golf for free and invite accompanied guests.

    • No additional greens fees for Extended family when accompanied; 50% guest greens fees for up to three accompanied guests.

    • Access to Founders-only tournaments, events, and travel.

    • Old Shores will offer the same level of hospitality that has made Bandon Dunes and Sand Valley among the most popular destinations in golf.

    • Founder membership is transferable one time to a family member, creating a legacy for Founders.

The Founder deposit is currently $115,000 and will increase as we achieve Foundership milestones.

Annual dues will commence upon opening of all 18 holes

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Shaping of the Doak course is underway, with grassing and grow-in to follow. Preview play on select holes is expected to begin by late 2026. Grand Opening of the first course slated for Fall of 2027.

  • No. The Founder program entitles you to specific benefits and preferred access to Old Shores. You will not have any ownership or equity interest in Old Shores, its facilities, property, or assets.

  • Once Founderships are “sold out”, purchasing real estate will be required to access membership (“Owner Members”). Owner Memberships may include additional benefits, and the membership will be tied to the lot, so that if real estate is sold, the Owner will resign his or her membership.

    Founding Members who subsequently purchase real estate will gain any additional Owner Member benefits while they are a homeowner and will remain a founding member even if the real estate is sold.

  • Yes. The Foundership may be gifted one time to a family member.
